What you can add

You do need experience as a cashier in a solicitors office – specifically of SRA accounts rules – but it doesn’t have to be bang up to date. So, this might be a chance to move back into a field you’ve enjoyed in the past.

The job is vitally important to the smooth running of our office. Reporting to Lisa, our long-serving Practice Manager, you’ll take care of bookkeeping and accounts; banking and reconciliation – both in line with SRA guidelines. Alongside routine reporting and everyday queries, you’ll also run our staff payroll – if that’s something you haven’t done before, we can soon bring you up to speed.

You’re diligent, numerate and literate; someone who’s a good communicator both in writing and in person. Above all, you need a can-do attitude – you know when to press on with tasks and when to stop and seek help.

If that’s you, as well as stability, we can offer flexibility. If you think you can get the job done over four days instead of five, we’re happy to consider that arrangement. Either way, there’s a competitive salary.
